Hi Laura, you shouldn´t let this keep you from visiting Southeast Asia, while some try to profit off of animals, many really try to protect the wildlife. Just always select carefully the places you visit, especially the so-called sanctuaries.

I’d love to visit Southeast Asia, but I’m worried that the wildlife exploitation might ruin my trip. I’m going to save this post incase I do end up traveling there in the future so I have ethical places to visit and support.
