The park is more of a protected area with villages and roads, so yes, you can drive around as long as there's a road but you'll need to hike to the megaliths, most are in the middle of paddy fields, some are in the middle of the jungle, and they are pretty far from each other, you won't see them from the road. I really recommend hiring a guide for the day. If not, check the Maps.Me app to see if the roads, trails, and megaliths are on it (most roads are not even on Google Maps).

In reply to Julie around the globe. So i can rent a motorbike in palu ,Ride all the way to wuasa, and ride freely in the park looking for the megaliths ? Am I allowed to ride in Lore Lindu?

Hey, I would recommend hiring a local guide to show you the megaliths, I'm not sure about prices but it shouldn't be too expensive (around 25 USD at the park's headquarter), you can ask around once you get to Wuasa. You might be able to find the main ones on your own, but still, it's best to have a guide. I'm not sure you can rent a motorbike in Wuasa.

Thnx for the article….
I looked for ways to get to this park, since i love archeology.
So as written , I’m taking a bus from palu to wuasa, as you recommend.
My interest is just the Megaliths ( wild animals are bonus).
Do i need a guide to show me where they are?
I want to see as much as possible.
How much is it a guide for 1 day in dollar?
You recommend renting a motorbike.. In palu or wuasa?
